In the final stretch, some members of the Iowa State University ROTC hurry down a lane at the Maple-Willow-Larch parking lot on Wednesday, Jan. 28. The Cyclone Battalion divided into four groups for the team-building exercise that put the members in a high-stress situation. This group looped around the east side of campus, carrying various heavy items, and, at one point, simulated rescuing a fellow soldier from a crashed helicopter. Photo by Anthony Capps/Ames Tribune
