Dec. 20 at 7 p.m. in the South Ballroom, the cadets concluded their ROTC journeys and began new ones as commissioned second lieutenants in the United States Army.
Iowa State’s Army ROTC Cadets were tested in several water survival situations on Nov. 19 at Beyer Hall. Cadets were challenged to tread water in full gear, carry equipment over a distance in water and be lunged from a platform into deep water.
Cadets in Training Examination periods have passed, and the cadet Pere Knezevic, instead of a well-deserved vacation in his native Zadar, with riot gear, barely noticeable in dense vegetation on Gasince, in anticipation of the “enemy” attack.
