Careers

A career in the making

Army officers have a lot of opportunities to shape their careers. They may choose a component that allows them to serve their country on a full-time basis or serve part-time while also building their civilian credentials. They can compete for any of 17 branches (specialty fields) before commissioning and can purse many other options with additional schooling and service. Army ROTC prepares you to succeed on any of these paths. The leadership training and experiences that you will have in ROTC will provide you with a solid foundation for success in the Army. Additionally, the internships you may apply for offer work experiences that will contribute to either a military or civilian career
